In May of 2014, Audi opened its new driving experience center just outside the town of Neuburg. About a half an hour drive away from Ingolstadt, the HQ and main factory of Audi. This new property houses also Audi sport, the car manufacturers racing division.
During the summer time, Audi offers some driving courses here. Check their web page for availability and pricing. However, you don’t need to buy any of this packages, you can visit just for free and enjoy the little displays in the main hall building of the complex, the customer center. They show some history of the company and the success Audi had and has in racing championships.
You get to see some cars and merchandise of the Audi collection. A must for every Audi lover. Don’t forget to check out upstairs. You can go out on the balcony and get a good view of the racetrack. You will find more info and history about the company as well.
Admission and Hours
The Admission to visit is for free. For driving events, you have to register.
The Customer Center is open from Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Check the website and or call to make sure the Customer Center is open and not closed for any special event.
Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot else to do at the driving experience center. If you want to see more of Audi, drive to Ingolstadt and visit the Audi Forum and Museum there.
