This may be good or bad. If you are staying for longer periods of time, you will miss out on free stays basically. The free night is a credited to your account after 7 stays not 7 nights at a hotel. Of course, you could check in and out every day. Do you really wanna go through that process every day?
But if you are on the road a lot for one or two night stays, this might be worth it.
