The new “Jason Bourne” movie is coming up soon in theaters. Now is your chance to secure a free digital copy of the Bourne Ultimatum.

Click this link and you will see that you can buy an HD copy for free, but you won’t earn the 100 points for this “purchase”. You need a FandangoNow account or if you have a FandangoVIP account, you can log in with the same credentials.

Bourne Ultimatum FandangoNow02If you sign up for a new account, you get asked for your credit card details. Don’t worry the movie is really free and you don’t have to pay for it. However when I entered my card data I always got the message that I should double-check my provided info because something doesn’t match. Everything was correct and I was just about to give up.

I opened the page of the movie again and surprise – I was logged in and the movie was already added to my library. You also have to accept to create an UltraViolet account. UltraViolet will actually host the movie and will stream it to the FandangoNow website. Check your inbox for a confirmation email for the “purchase” and the account creation at FandangoNow and UltraViolet.

You can then access the movie and your library via your browser on your PC, smart TV’s or via the FandangoNow app on your mobile devices.

I don’t really know what HD means for Fandango, but the movie is not at all in HD on my laptop. It looks super cheap and not enjoyable at all. I have a pretty high-resolution on my laptop, 3200×1800 to be exact. But I watched YouTube videos in a low resolution and they looked better. I haven’t watched the movie for long, just tried it to see if it works. Maybe after it caches more, it will look better.

But what do I complain? It was free.
