The Admirals Club in Terminal A got renovated and re-opened in mid-2018. Find the review of the renovated Admirals Club here.

This review is part of a trip to Germany.

After arriving from Frankfurt in Dallas, I had some time to kill before taking a flight to Seattle. Because I arrived on an International First Class Ticket, I was able to use the Admirals Club.

My departure gate would be in Terminal A, so I used the Admirals Club there to not have to leave early to get to the right terminal and gate. With the Skylink, it’s easy to go from terminal to terminal.

During check-in, the agent told me that the are renovating this club right now. Once upstairs you couldn’t really make out the construction site. Everything was walled off and it looked like it belongs like this. The bar was a little small, but that’s just during the construction period.

The lounge had lots of different seating areas and featured a view snack buffets and coffee machines throughout the lounge. Right after exiting the elevator was a customer service desk, for any questions or support you need. To the left is more seating and the bar. As mentioned before, the bar itself is tiny for such a huge lounge area. It got pretty crowded in there during my visit.

On the far end of the lounge is the business center with cubicles, printers, and workstations. Perfect for all your business needs. On the way to the business center, you will pass the kid’s play area and the shower suites. They have quite a lot of them here.

But you won’t believe what else I found here. A freaking fitness center. Well, it’s not the biggest and finest, but have you ever seen a fitness center in an airport lounge before? I haven’t!

I wonder if it really gets used that much? I mean you don’t have to worry about working out hard. The showers are right next door and you won’t even have to go into the main lounge area.

My stay in this lounge was rather short and it took me most of the time to explore this place. I was really surprised about the gym. What do you think, should more lounges have fitness centers?
