The Minute Suites are the newest addition to the Priority Pass lounge network. These suites are not exactly lounges, they are more of an accommodation kind of venue. Great to give you some me-time inside the busy airports and to take a nap.
On my latest trip to Florida, I took the chance to visit one of the Minute Suites inside the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. With Priority Pass you get the first hour for free and every additional hour for $28. This is a big saving and huge discount as a regular hour goes for $42 and an additional hour would cost as well $42. For example, you will pay only $28 for a two-hour stay with a Priority Pass membership compared to a regular reservation which would cost you $84.

Finding the Minute Suites was easy. I arrived at gate A29 and so I had to walk only a few more gates down to get to the Minute Suites located near Gate A38. The sign was already visible from a distance and easy to recognize.
I went to see the concierge at the front desk and showed her my Priority Pass card. Besides that, she wanted to see a credit card for incidentals and ID. After checking me in she escorted me to my personal suite and gave me a quick overview of the layout.
The suite is big enough to fit a daybed sofa in there, which sleeps two and across from it is a little desk with a wireless keyboard, remote and a wall-mounted TV screen. There was also a set of fresh pillows and blankets ready to use.
There are two water bottles next to the sofa which will be charged separately to your card on file, as well as the bottles of Skywater on the desk.
The TV comes with complimentary access to DirectTV and Netflix as well as some other business apps and you are able to browse the internet. If you want to use your laptop or other devices you can use the free airport Wifi as well as the wired LAN port available.
There is a whole list of items which you can buy at the front desk if you miss any of them.
The suite is equipped with a sound masking system that helps to neutralize noise and Nap26 audio program to help deliver a refreshing powernap. Every suite has its own airconditioning unit and you can adjust it to your personal comfort. The whole suite is pretty quiet once inside but they are not completely soundproof. For example, you can hear other guest entering and leaving their suites but that’s about it and it’s not a very big impact.
