A new Movies Anywhere promotion is here which launched yesterday. This time you have again the chance to score three free movies for your collection. See previous offers.

If you don’t know Movies Anywhere, it is a service from Disney. It lets you sync your movies from different retailers. For example, if you sign up for a new account and add your Google Play account. You can watch Happy Feet in your Google Play Movies app/website or on the Movies Anywhere website.
On the other hand, every movie you purchased from one of these Studios:
- Disney
- Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc.
- Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.
- Universal
- Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.
will be also synced to your Movies Anywhere website. So now that doesn’t sound like a lot but it gets more interesting as you add a second retailer, let’s say Amazon.

- Microsoft Movies & TV
- FandangoNow
Now you can watch all your movies not only in Google Play Movies and Movies Anywhere, but you can also watch them with your Amazon account and all movies from your Amazon account (if they are from one of the supported studios) will also sync back to your Google Account and Movies Anywhere account. This makes it easier to watch movies on different devices as some have more restrictions and convenience issues, depending on the operating system.
If you love deals, it gets even better. Now you can hunt for deals on movies on either one of the accounts and it will sync back to all other devices. For example, if one of the linked accounts has a promotion for a free movie, it will show up in all other accounts. Even once you unlink them, they will stay in all of the accounts separately, you just can’t sync any new movies until you re-link your accounts.
You can sync Ultra Violet with Fandango and then from there to Movies Anywhere. That way you can sync your digital copies of DVDs and Blu-rays.
The current offer will expire on midnight of December 27, 2018 (PST). That gives you a few days to get everything set up.
