American Express expanded its lounge at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. From the beginning, this was the only American Express lounge which was called a studio instead of a lounge just because of its smaller size. The lounge at Sea-Tac got crowded easily during peak times and it was also missing some essential amenities like shower suites and a full-size bar. If you haven’t done so, check out my original review of the Centurion Studio.
The construction is complete and I finally got the chance to see the new extended version of this lounge. I have to say I am impressed what they did. The bar area offers comfortable seating to enjoy meals and your drinks. The ceiling to floor windows gives you great views of the tarmac and of Mount Rainier.
The shower suite and additional restroom are located as well in the new annex of the lounge. To access the shower ask a representative at the member desk.
