This weekend I went to the Opel Meet-up in Oschersleben. The biggest meet-up of fans of the car-manufacturer OPEL in Germany. Opel is a subsidiary of GMC. A friend of mine got an invitation to the OPC Performance Training and he was able to do a test-drive with the new Opel Corsa OPC on the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. It is a nice event. mainly younger people are there and camping all around the race track. Everybody was friendly and nice. When we got there, there was a group of mainly BMW drivers doing drift-challenges on the racetrack. I took a ton of pictures and you can find them in my flickr album.

Opel itself presented their OPC Models and they also offered safety-driving-lessons with some Opel Corsa OPC cars on a separate track. Some crazy people did burnouts with their car until the tires broke. A lot of companies about tunning and car parts showed their newest stuff and had great give-aways. It was a very exciting day with lots of action and cars.
