This week I went out for a night shoot with fellow photographers from the SNAP Meetup group. Eric, the organizer, had plant a night shoot at the Port of Oakland.
We met just before sunset and set up our gear. The Middle Harbor Shoreline Park offers great views of the Port of Oakland and San Francisco including the Bay Bridge.
It was a quiet event, most of the time you only heard the camera shutter and now and then some people in the port yelling at each other.
Every one was focused on composition and camera settings. With a 5 a.m. flight out of SFO I didn’t have much time to stick around. I wanted to get some rest at least before leaving.
It’s fun with all the guys in this Meetup group. I joined already a couple of their meetings and it was always fun.
