This Challenge consists of 22 caches places throughout Open Space Preserves in the Midpeninsula area. You will need some time to complete this tour and for most caches, you have to do quite some hiking. For me, it was a fun tour and it brought me to awesome places. Even seeing wild deer is not seldom. Most of the places can be accessed from Highway 35, which is an amazing and very scenic drive.
Official Rules and Information can be found on the Challenge Website.
Stamp your Challenge passport with the stamp in each individual cache. The passport can be downloaded at the OpenSpacePreserve-Website or have it mailed to you directly. I recommend the mailed version. Very nice passport.
Children 16 and younger only need to find 12 out of the 22 caches to receive a custom District cache tag.
– Trackable Geocoin
– custom District cache tag for children 16 years and younger
