This is the last night for the Bay Bridge to light up again in all its beauty. The Bay Lights installation on the Bay Bridge is the world’s largest LED light sculpture. It illuminates the west span of the Bay Bridge. Leo Villareal created a never repeating light show with 25.000 of white LED lights for the Bay Bridge’s 75th anniversary.

After raising more than 4 million US$ in 2014 with generous private support the Bay Lights are now becoming a permanent installation. The installation will be taken down to allow cable maintenance on the bridge and will return for Super Bowl 2016.
