Porsche in Los Angeles? Well, technically that’s a lie. The Porsche Experience Center on the West Coast is located in the city of Carson. Don’t mix it up with Carson City, that town is located in Nevada. That’s why even the German car manufacturer calls it Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles (PECLA). Pretty much everyone in the world knows where L.A. is or has heard the name before.

Since November 2016 Porsche fans and car enthusiasts can come here to experience the Porsche brand. The 53-acre playground is built on a former nine-hole golf course and is now the home of the legendary Porsche 911 and other Porsche models.

The Experience Center is also the new headquarter of Porsche Motorsports in North America.

The highlight is definitely one of the many available tracks. Here you can push a Porsche 911 to its limits or pilot a Cayenne over an off-road track. That’s a rare opportunity for locals except you count jumping the curb as an off-road track.

The prices range from 90 minutes in a 718 Cayman for $385 all the way up to $1300 for two hours in multiple two-door Porsche sports cars. Get on the track and get a feeling of the German Autobahn and the adrenalin rush.

Besides driving one of the many cars, you can see old and historic Porsche and the latest models inside the museum. The museum has a ceiling to floor glass wall opening the view inside the motorsports garage.
