This is the the latest Admiral Club I visited during my travels to D.C. It is also the third and final Admirals Club. American Airlines operates a total of three clubs at this airport. One at each concourse they fly out of. This makes it convenient for travelers as American has a very large presence at this airport.
There are a total of three Admiral Clubs at DCA Terminal 2, including this one.
The Admirals Club at E-Gates was just recently renovated and re-opened under American’s reimagined style.
American Airlines also announced that it will offer an enhanced food and complimentary drink menu at all of it’s lounges.
Location
The entrance to the Admirals Club lounge is located at the beginning of Concourse C. Follow the signs to Concourse C and as you walk down the entrance will be on your right at the beginning of the concourse, near Gate C24. There is a staircase leading up to the lounge as well as two elevators.
The lounge is located on the mezzanine level. After exiting the elevator you get to the check-in counter.

- AAdvantage® Executive Platinum, Platinum Pro, and Platinum elites traveling to Asia, Australia, Central America, Europe, Mexico City (MEX), New Zealand, South America (one guest permitted) marketed and operated by American Airlines or a oneworld® airline (regardless of cabin).
- ConciergeKey members departing on or connecting to any flight marketed and operated by American Airlines or a oneworld® airline (regardless of cabin). Immediate family (spouse, domestic partner and/or children under 18) or up to 2 guests.
- oneworld® Emerald and Sapphire elites departing on or connecting to any flight marketed and operated by American Airlines or a oneworld® airline (regardless of cabin). One guest permitted.
- Admirals Club Membership: Requires same day departing or arriving flight marketed or operated by American Airlines, marketed and operated by any oneworld® partner carrier, or marketed and operated by Alaska Airlines. - Military: U.S. military personnel traveling in uniform traveling on a same-day flight operated by American.
Admirals Club DCA Concourse C Review
Out of all the three Admirals Clubs at DCA, this is the smallest one. As you walk down the entry way after you checked in, you will pass a seating area to your right, which loops around the backside of the lounge into the main lounge space. It comes with more seating space around the corner. The windows at the backside of the lounge face the concourse.
As you keep walking down the entryway you will pass the business center on your right. It comes with three “open” cubicles and extra desk space along the windows. A printer and scanner is also located in this area as well as a workstation for use. Power outlets at the cubicles are rather inconvenient located, as you have to crawl under the desk to plug in.
As you follow down the entryway you will enter the main lounge area. A bar is located in the corner of the room. The buffet is located near the entrance to the lounge space which also offers a coffee machine. Drinks, including sodas are available at the bar. There is another snack station on your left after you pass the check-in counter.
Besides that there are a few different seating arrangements places throughout the lounge. The bar of course comes with high chairs.
From the windows you can see the tarmac and operation between Concourse B and C.
Conclusion
The Admirals Club Concourse C is a very small lounge but staff was on it to replenish all the items swiftly. The business area is the best spot to set up your laptop to get work done, as none of the other seating areas have good tables.
This lounge is great if you are flying out of C Concourse and only have a few minutes. If you have more time to spare, I would head down to the Admirals Club at Concourse E. It got recently remodeled and has way more seating options and better views as well. American is planning to redo all their lounge spaces, but it will be a while until this lounge gets the “reimagined” design as well.
