I have an upcoming business trip to Oregon and my destination is outside in the countryside. I started looking for hotels close by and it looks like the best choices would be one of two Best Western properties.

Since I haven’t stayed in a Best Western hotel in a while, I logged into my account so see if there are any promotions going on and sure there are two right now.

Winter Promotion

BW WInter 2015

With their Winter Promotion (register here) you get 10% off and get an additional 500 Points per stay if you book on bestwestern.com You have to register to get the bonus points and you need a Best Western Rewards Account.

To get the 10% off rate at participating hotels, you would only need to book the BEST VALUE rate plan.

This promotion runs from November 23, 2015 – February 7, 2016. A FAQ list can be found here, which also shows participating countries.

Winter Mobile Promotion

BW Winter 2015 mobile Promo

There is another promotion running if you book through Best Western’s app for iPhone or Android or on their mobile website. For every completed stay you booked over one of these three channels, you will get 1000 bonus points. There is no limit how often you can use this offer during the promotion time from November 23, 2015 – February 7, 2016. According to the Terms and Conditions you can’t combine this offer with the other winter promotion.

Both offers are great and you have to decide for yourself which one you prefer more. Happy hunting for points.
