Hyatt, one of my favorite brands is expanding and adding more brands to its portfolio. Starting tomorrow (March 28, 2019) Thompson Hotels will be officially integrated into Hyatt. Hyatt announced the purchase of Two Roads Hospitality last year.
This is a great step forwards for Hyatt and adding more opportunities for its members. The new partnership with Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) is another one of these additions to Hyatt.
These hotels can be booked through Hyatt starting tomorrow. Below a list with the hotels which will be joining Hyatt.
- Gild Hall (NYC)
- The Beekman (NYC)
- The Cape (Cabo San Lucas)
- Thompson Chicago
- Thompson Nashville
- Thompson Seattle
- Thompson Toronto
- Thompson Zihuatanejo (Mexico)

Hyatt is adding even more brands in 2019. Besides Thompson Hotels, we can expect the following brands to join Hyatt in 2019.
- Joie de Vivre Hotels (for stays starting May 15, 2019)
- Alila Hotels and Resorts (coming soon)
- Destination Hotels (coming soon)
With the addition of these hotels, Hyatt’s footprint will be added by more than 60 hotels in 20 destinations including Zihuatanejo, Mexica; Vail, Colorado; and many more. Hyatt’s resort portfolio will grow by 60% and add legendary destinations such as Resort at Squaw Creek, California and Alila Seminyak in Bali. This will give you the opportunity to enjoy 40+ new spas, 20+ new golf courses, and 10 new ski destinations.
To promote these new brands, Hyatt is giving away points. Earn 2,000 Bonus Points for your first stay at each of these new brands. When you stay at all four of Hyatt’s new brands you can earn a category 1-4 free night award. Eligible stays begin when each brand joins World of Hyatt and includes award stays. This promotion runs until December 31, 2019, and no registration is required.
