Mark the date: Saturday, August 18th, 2018 is the annual International Geocaching Day. As the years before, you will earn a souvenir for your profile by attending an event or finding a geocache on that day.
This year was a great year so far if you are hunting souvenirs for your profile as well besides the geocaches out there. Earlier this year you could participate in the “Planetary Pursuit” where you could earn 10 souvenirs based on our solar system. The “Hidden Creatures” Souvenir Campaign just ended yesterday and if you found 100 caches you got 13 additional souvenirs featuring mythical creatures.
Compared to these above-mentioned campaigns, the International Geocaching Day souvenir is an easy one to get. Just find any cache or participate at an event on August 18, 2018, and you got it. So save the easy cache in front of your doorstep for that day and find the hard once out there first.
