The aging and already 40-year old North Satellite at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport undergoes a modernization project to better serve passengers. Alaska Airlines will be the sole airline operating from the North Satellite Building. The modernization includes better travel experience from drop-off to departure and a better working environment for employees. There will be also a rooftop Alaska Airlines Board Room with a view of the Olympic Mountains once the construction is complete. I just recently reviewed their current Board Room at the N-Gates.

The renovation of the satellite building will add 8 more gates to the building to give it a total of 20 gates. Below some pictures and a rendering of the new Satellite Building.
